Kelly Bays, Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu

I my self as a Sabahan, never been there but my husband as a tour bus driver always sending tourists that come visited Sabah. I think this is a really amazing and adventures place that you should visit. If you have the opportunity of visiting Sabah, one of the interesting places, it would be Kelly Bay's.

Kelly Bays located at Kg. Laya-Laya, Tuaran, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It take 40 minutes leisure drive from Kota Kinabalu City to the Jetty. Then all visitor will take a 5 minute ferry ride from jetty to the beach. On the way our tourist guide in town will a short introduced about the Mangrove forest and the river.

Kelly Bays is the unique place that facing both river and sea. I think there is the only transport that can be use to reach there "Floating Pondok".

Kelly Bay also provided some of the watersport activities like water bicycle, boat rides, body surfing and many more. If you get bored of the salty water then you can swim at the river too.

Beside of water, there also have Batik house. Show your artistic batik painting, who care if you don't have the talent. Not to worry if you get hungry after all the tiring activities, they serve a local delicate, bbq or buffet.

Visiting Museum Sabah

Sabah state museum is plentiful store of treasures and items of historical relics aboard. During last mid-term school holiday, i have bring my children visiting the state museum. We left home about 9.00 o'clock in the morning, then we have a breakfast at the pavilion food court (actually a coffee shop that have a different stall inside). About 10.30am we finish our breakfast then straight away heading to the museum. 
My children are so excited until the keep on asking....how long we take to reach there mom? Just about half hours we reach our destination. They just can't wait to see what is inside the museum. I pay for RM2.00 and free for my children. Inside the museum we are not allow to took picture. They see alot of historical things in there and they ask a lot of question hemmmm....that kids.
We also meet a lot of parent bringing their children. It's good sometime bring them to see and learn about the historical of our ancestry. What they do for living, what their costume, how their house looks like and etc.

Vesak day 2015

Vesak day known as Buddah day, which Gautama Buddah birth, enlightment and death.
Buddah day fall on the day of full moon in the May. So at malaysia it fall on 3rd of May 2015. On that day many people which belive in buddah visiting the temple. Some of the visitor sit and listen to the monk's  talks and recite ancients verses.
Most of the temple will display a small statue of Buddah as a baby. They place the statue on a basin filled with water and decorate with flower. All the visitor will pour water over the statue symbolizes a pure and new beginning. I and my kids also pour a water on the buddah statue. Some of the temple serve a vegetarian food to the visitor during the day.
